FunctionErosion Control: Silt fences are used around construction sites and along slopes and shorelines, to minimize the movement of sediment and prevent erosion.
Product DescriptionThrace-LINQ silt fence products excel at controlling silt and sediment runoff, whether at construction sites or contamination-prone watershed areas. Fashioned from UV-stabilized, woven polypropylene, our geotextile silt fences help to satisfy environmental regulations during site development and construction.
AASHTO M 288 is the national guideline for the use of geotextiles in civil engineering applications, and our product GTF 190SF meets this requirement. However, since multiple specifying agencies contribute additional guidelines, Thrace-LINQ silt fences are available in a variety of styles and designs.
